1 John 3:24 (AMP)

24 All who keep His commandments [who obey His orders and follow His plan, live and continue to live, to stay and] abide in Him, and He in them. [[a]They let Christ be a home to them and they are the home of Christ.] And by this we know and understand and have the proof that He [really] lives and makes His home in us: by the [Holy] Spirit Whom He has given us.

Good Monday Morning! I was so happy to share the good news today! Even though it is literally pouring down rain and stormy here in Destin as I write, I knew today was a great day for us! This week I have been digging deeper and deeper into what God needs me to KNOW about Him. Again we can be Bible carriers and quote all the scriptures but completely miss KNOWING God! I know in the depths of my heart that God created all of us to KNOW Him, LOVE Him, and WORSHIP Him! Today God quietly pressed into my heart that this season of long suffering and pain was for all of us to prepare for the breakthrough that is on our way!

Many of us have been through wave after wave of challenges, hurt, disappointments, death, and heart aches! Many of you have asked me why God has allowed for us to be in such a long season of  trials and challenges. As I was meditating on God's goodness and standing on the promises of He has given to all of us, I felt the unbelievable peace of knowing that all of this was to prepare us for what is to come! I felt that possibly this long season of pain has been a time for us to slow down, fall to our knees, and examine our hearts. As today's scripture states, we must obey and follow His plan and continue to live and abide in Him! I felt like this has been a season for all of us to seek God's face, seek His will, and let go of anything that would keep us from living as God desires for us!

Personally this season has broken me. I have asked God to totally remake me from the inside out. I have changed daily habits, given up some fleshly desires, challenged my emotional state, confessed wrong thoughts and actions, and have desperately cried out to God to know Him and learn ALL that I can in this season so I never have to face these particular trials again! I want you to know-- God does not send the trials and pains but He does allow them! NO ONE escapes this dark world's evil. BUT GOD-- He will answer you, He will draw you closer to Him, and HE will bring you through the storms! There are many storms of life-- many types and origins of storms- BUT the only ONE answer to them all is God!

Each storm we face and get through proves who God is over and over. He is creator and reigns over it all. God is majestic and above ALL things. God is our defender and He is our deliverer! You are sealed by His Son, Jesus, and He lives within you. God is our supreme hope no matter what we face! Each storm is preparing us and growing us for the next season in life! YOUR breakthrough, YOUR answer, YOUR relief, and YOUR rest is on its way!

My challenge this week is: if you are facing a storm then go to your knees and ask God to show you what you need to learn in the storm! Ask God to be your strength and power to stand in the midst of it all. His power lives within you and so call on it! Then I want you to look into your deepest parts and in your heart and see where God might be asking you to change, modify, or eliminate things or emotions from your life. Earnestly seek to obey God and KNOW Him, not because of religion and laws- but because He loves you so extravagantly and you want to experience His greatness and goodness in every area of your life by loving Him first and above ALL things! Trusting God, Loving God, and Knowing God through the greatest trials of life proves of our great love for Him and He will always bless and honor those that Know Him, Love Him, and Worship Him!

Psalm 50:23 KJV

Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.

Good Monday Morning! I am so excited to share with you today! I am so amazed that we have already passed the first month of the year and we are now in February! God is so good and faithful So many of us are praying for one another this year and we are already seeing God answer many of our prayers! We are in a year where God is moving quickly and right on time! Today I wanted to show you a scripture God revealed to me this past week in my quiet time that really settled into my soul. I pray that it touches your heart too!

When I started looking up commentaries on today's scripture I knew that I had to share this simple truth. I think so many times we make God so complicated. Yes God is deeper than we can comprehend but His love and directions are really quite simple. This scripture demonstrates this fact- it clearly and simply states what pleases God! This one short scripture explains in detail what we need to do to please God.

First the scripture tells us that praise glorifies God. Let me stop right here. Are you praising God in your daily journey with Him? Are you praising Him even if you are facing challenges or if you are in a storm? As I have shared before, the praise of a broken heart will always resound in the heavenly's! In the storms or tragedies of life if we will continue to praise God this shows God how much we trust Him and how much we have confidence in who He is! When we praise God in our lives, offering Him our thanksgivings and praise, this glorifies Him! We glorify God by what we say and do! Remember we were divinely designed to love God first and worship Him! When we praise Him through a spirit of true thankfulness, adoration, and love we bring Him honor, love, and worship!

The next simple truth in this short scripture is this, when we order our lives around God and live in obedience, God shows us the way to salvation! God will make us see His way for our lives and we will know true and everlasting happiness! When we seek to walk in God's ways He will guide us to salvation. The salvation that only He alone can give!

My challenge this week is: if you are not praising God and giving Him glory every day then can you start right now? If you are praising God daily maybe then challenge your heart to go a little deeper so God can reveal more of Himself to you. This simple scripture promises us that if we will praise God, glorify Him, set our ways in obedience to Him and worship Him with all of our hearts in purity then we will enjoy God's presence and favor- God's salvation!

Revelations 6:9-11 (NIV)

9 When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained. 10 They called out in a loud voice, "How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?" 11 Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the full number of their fellow servants, their brothers and sisters,[a] were killed just as they had been.

Good Monday Morning! The Lord had given me these scriptures yesterday in my quiet time way before the terrible tragedy in Texas occurred. I knew that we could use some encouragement today as we face another tragic act of evil. My word from the Lord was so encouraging that I couldn't wait to share it with you today! God has a white robe waiting on you so don't give up or give in-- our eternal home waits for us!

I began to search all kinds of commentaries and things to further understand the scriptures above. The greatest part for me was the truth that our testimony coupled with the blood of the Lamb is the most powerful weapon against the enemy and evil! Many times I am asked about how one can fulfill their purpose or how do I know if I am doing what God is asking me to do with my life. Right here in today's scripture God is showing us that the power of your testimony is one of your greatest gifts you can give back to the eternal Kingdom!

God more than ever wants the faithful to stand for His truth in the midst of the darkness and the evil of the world! God needs your faithful witness to who He is and what He can do for those that love Him. My urgent plea to all of us is to stand firm, stand strong, and to share with everyone our own personal testimony of what God has done in our lives and what God continues to do through us!

My challenge this week is: if you are bogged down in the tragic events of the darkness of our world and the evil that we face-- take heart God has a white robe with your name on it waiting in heaven! Be bold and courageous and share your own personal story to everyone of what God has done for you in your life! I challenge all of us to be a light in this dark world. YOUR story matters and God gets ALL of the glory for all that He has done and has yet to do! Be encouraged today that the world is a temporal dwelling and that one day we will be in our eternal home with Jesus Christ dressed in our white robes-- clothed in Jesus' righteousness!

James 5:16 (AMP)

16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another [your false steps, your offenses], and pray for one another, that you may be healed and restored. The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power].

Good Monday Morning! What a great response from my last Livin' Lively Notes asking you to send me your prayer requests to pray with you and for you in the year 2018! I was so honored and humbled to pray alongside so many of you! We are expecting God to answer every one of our prayer requests this year! It is not too late for you to join. Please email me your prayer requests for these 4 areas of your life:  your family, yourself, your children and your mate (if you are single for you future mate or career and lifestyle). Together we will in unity and one heart wait expectantly on the Lord to answer.

This brought me to today's inspiration through James 5:16. In this scripture we are instructed on how to get our prayers answered! First we are told to confess our sins and offenses to one another! WHOA! SO many times the enemy keeps our sins and offenses in the dark and keeps us in bondage and shame. Today I challenge us to go to one another and confess our failures, our shortcomings, our fears, and offenses so that they can be brought to the light. Then we can experience freedom like never before because the enemy will no longer have a hold on us.

Second we are told to pray for one another so that we can be healed and restored! WHOA! That's our word for the year 2018 that God will restore and redeem. Amazing-- right here we know that this year is your year to be whole healed and restored like never before!  Today as Christ follower's in one heart let us pray for one another so that we may all be healed, restored and redeemed!

Next we are told and promised that the heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much! When we go to God humbly and whole hardheartedly in righteousness the power of God is activated and He will move! Just remember God answer's prayers in His perfect timing so be persistent in your life and do not give up on God!

My challenge this week is: if you want someone to agree and decree prayers alongside you this year, please send me your prayer requests. I challenge us to pray for one another. Find a sister or brother and confess your sins, unbelief, fears, or shortcomings and bring whatever the devil has kept you in darkness and shame about to the light-- claim freedom! Then let us persistently wholeheartedly and humbly pray to God to restore and redeem every area of our lives this year!

2 Peter 2:9

"Then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials." NIV

Good Monday Morning! This week has been an amazing week. God has been so powerful and evident in so many ways in my personal life! I know many of us are in need of a rescue from God! This week God showed me a wonderful scripture that I must share with you today. The truth for us today is this; God is at no loss for means even when we cannot see any means of escape!

In the scripture above it is an answer. In the scriptures previous in 2 Peter 2 in verses 4-8, it explained how God spared the ancient world through Noah from the great flood of the earth and how He rescued Lot from the torment of the lawless. Today's verse says, “then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials." Remember we serve a God that doesn't change. God is the same yesterday, today, and forever! God knows the best way to deliver us from the trials of life even when we can't see how to get out of our pain!

God wants you to know today that He still has the power, wisdom, and will to deliver you-- His own daughter--from the trials of life! God loves you so much. God just this week has been so merciful to me and my family. He has given us tangible signs of literally where to go or not to go. He has given us signs that we are in fact moving out of the stormy season and getting ever so close to the other side! I felt the Lord pressing my heart to share and declare today that He knows exactly what you are facing: temptations, trials, injustice, and more. God wants you to know that He knows exactly how and when to rescue you!

My challenge this week is: if you are facing the trials of life and are in need of deliverance-- God is there and He will rescue you! Don't give up! Don't give in! Stay true to God and do the right thing even when nothing seems like it's going to work out. God is working right now behind the scenes making the way for your escape and rescue! Believe today that God is moving on your behalf and your help is on the way!
