Revelations 6:9-11 (NIV)

9 When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained. 10 They called out in a loud voice, "How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?" 11 Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the full number of their fellow servants, their brothers and sisters,[a] were killed just as they had been.

Good Monday Morning! The Lord had given me these scriptures yesterday in my quiet time way before the terrible tragedy in Texas occurred. I knew that we could use some encouragement today as we face another tragic act of evil. My word from the Lord was so encouraging that I couldn't wait to share it with you today! God has a white robe waiting on you so don't give up or give in-- our eternal home waits for us!

I began to search all kinds of commentaries and things to further understand the scriptures above. The greatest part for me was the truth that our testimony coupled with the blood of the Lamb is the most powerful weapon against the enemy and evil! Many times I am asked about how one can fulfill their purpose or how do I know if I am doing what God is asking me to do with my life. Right here in today's scripture God is showing us that the power of your testimony is one of your greatest gifts you can give back to the eternal Kingdom!

God more than ever wants the faithful to stand for His truth in the midst of the darkness and the evil of the world! God needs your faithful witness to who He is and what He can do for those that love Him. My urgent plea to all of us is to stand firm, stand strong, and to share with everyone our own personal testimony of what God has done in our lives and what God continues to do through us!

My challenge this week is: if you are bogged down in the tragic events of the darkness of our world and the evil that we face-- take heart God has a white robe with your name on it waiting in heaven! Be bold and courageous and share your own personal story to everyone of what God has done for you in your life! I challenge all of us to be a light in this dark world. YOUR story matters and God gets ALL of the glory for all that He has done and has yet to do! Be encouraged today that the world is a temporal dwelling and that one day we will be in our eternal home with Jesus Christ dressed in our white robes-- clothed in Jesus' righteousness!

2 Peter 2:9

"Then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials." NIV

Good Monday Morning! This week has been an amazing week. God has been so powerful and evident in so many ways in my personal life! I know many of us are in need of a rescue from God! This week God showed me a wonderful scripture that I must share with you today. The truth for us today is this; God is at no loss for means even when we cannot see any means of escape!

In the scripture above it is an answer. In the scriptures previous in 2 Peter 2 in verses 4-8, it explained how God spared the ancient world through Noah from the great flood of the earth and how He rescued Lot from the torment of the lawless. Today's verse says, “then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials." Remember we serve a God that doesn't change. God is the same yesterday, today, and forever! God knows the best way to deliver us from the trials of life even when we can't see how to get out of our pain!

God wants you to know today that He still has the power, wisdom, and will to deliver you-- His own daughter--from the trials of life! God loves you so much. God just this week has been so merciful to me and my family. He has given us tangible signs of literally where to go or not to go. He has given us signs that we are in fact moving out of the stormy season and getting ever so close to the other side! I felt the Lord pressing my heart to share and declare today that He knows exactly what you are facing: temptations, trials, injustice, and more. God wants you to know that He knows exactly how and when to rescue you!

My challenge this week is: if you are facing the trials of life and are in need of deliverance-- God is there and He will rescue you! Don't give up! Don't give in! Stay true to God and do the right thing even when nothing seems like it's going to work out. God is working right now behind the scenes making the way for your escape and rescue! Believe today that God is moving on your behalf and your help is on the way!

God, please show me the way!

"The Lord says, 'I will stay close to you, instructing and guiding you along the pathway of life. I will advise you along the way and lead you forth with my eyes as your guide.' " ~Psalm 32:8, Passion

Hello friends! When I saw this Psalm, I was so thankful for David and his wonderful writings that are so real and comforting! I don't know about you, but in this dark season I am in great need of God's directions, guidance, and revelations now more than ever! I am at a place in this dark season that the only question I long to be answered is, "God where do I go from here?"

In the scripture above I was comforted by God's promise to us! God Himself gave us these words! I love the first part, "I will stay close to you." In the dark seasons of life God can seem very far away in our minds, hearts and lives. But right here we are assured God is very close to us! The next part of the scripture promises guidance, advice, and leading! Isn't this amazing? The God who created the universe promises that He will be close to us and get us where He needs us to be!

The last part of the scripture just blew me away. It says, "lead you forth with my eyes as your guide." God will lead me with His eyes! I was humbled by this promise. I immediately went to Jesus and asked for forgiveness for all of my sins and particularly the sins of me trying to control my journey! I asked God to give me the eyes of His heart today so that I could see my next step more clearly!

My challenge this week is: if you are desperate to find the next step in your life then take this scripture and declare it right now over your life! Agree with God and tell Him that you know He is your guide and counselor! Ask God to create in you a cleansed and clean heart so that your heart can have the eyes He needs to lead you. Then trust and obey that God will lead you all the way step-by-step as you walk out His purposes and promises for your life!

I love you all so much. Please don't hesitate to contact me at any time. Also, I will be praying for all of you this week! I would love to pray with you!  This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. that you may have. Habakkuk 3:17-19 (NLT)

Even though the fig trees have no blossoms,

and there are no grapes on the vines;

even though the olive crop fails,

and the fields lie empty and barren;

even though the flocks die in the fields,

and the cattle barns are empty,

yet I will rejoice in the Lord!

I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!

The Sovereign Lord is my strength!

He makes me as surefooted as a deer,

able to tread upon the heights

Good Monday Morning! I hope you are all well and dry! Here in Destin, Florida we have just endured another hurricane! The rains and winds have been unbelievable but we were so blessed not to have any significant damage! As I was searching my heart on what to share with you today, I knew we had to talk about the storms of life. How do we trust God when our lives are faced with hurricanes: troubled relationships, financial woes, sickness, and so much more? Today's encouragement will lead us to a greater trust in God.

In the scripture above Habakkuk describes a very dark picture. There is death and lack everywhere. Basically he is describing one whose future looks empty, their today looks barren, and they feel like they have nothing to count on or fall back on. Could this be you today? Are you facing such a storm in your life that your dreams, your finances, and people in your lives seem dead? The good news today is that we can find joy, strength, and trust in God on the worst day of our lives!

The scriptures then say, "Yet I will rejoice in the Lord." What? How do you rejoice in the Lord when you are facing the hurricanes of life? I can share from my own personal brokenness that in my worst days I can always thank God for saving me! I thank God for loving me when I am at my own personal worst! I thank God that He is my Heavenly Father and that I know He will never leave me or forsake me. I ultimately remind myself that God loves me so much that He gave His only Son, Jesus, to redeem and rescue me!

When we are able to be thankful and rejoice in the Lord-- it will always bring you strength! God will become your focus and not your circumstances! God will start helping you move forward with hope and a greater trust in Him. God will start planting your heart and feet solid into who HE is and who you are to Him! Then as the scripture ends with, "The Sovereign Lord is my strength! He makes me as surefooted as a deer, able to tread upon the heights." You too will find strength from God. God will help guide your path so that you too will soar high above the storm! You will have a new found level of trust in God and you will overcome through His love and power!

My challenge this week is: if you are faced with a hurricane or storms in your life then right now just thank God for loving you! Thank God for His Son Jesus and for their redeeming love, mercy, and grace. Then lean into God and allow Him to orchestrate your steps out of the darkness, pain, and storms. God will light up your pathway and give you the strength. You will be able to trust God in a greater way and you will have the power to overcome the storms!

We can't escape death!

Good Morning! I want to thank so many of you that have prayed for me and touched me during the last few weeks as my Dad was dying. Daddy was an amazing man and we laid him to rest here and celebrated his new life in heaven. There were so many things I wanted to share with you today, but I felt led to focus on one point: We are all going to face death one day, but that's just the beginning of our story!

I did some research on facts about death. Worldwide, there are approximately 56,600,000 deaths a year. That works out to 4.7 million per month, 155,000 per day, 6,500 per hour, 107 per minute, and 1.8 per second. So, as you can see, no man has ever escaped death here on earth! You know so many of us take today for granted. With our lives being lived out longer and longer we seem to feel life lasts forever. But God! In today's scripture below it says, "we are an earthly tent." That's right! We are a tent that only lasts a while then it is torn down to go to our permanent and eternal home.

"For we know that if the earthly tent [our physical body] which is our house is torn down [through death], we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens."  ~2 Corinthians 5:1, Amplified

The second part of the scripture is so encouraging! It says, "We have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens." God has literally made a home for each of His children in heaven. We were never designed to live on earth forever. God designed us to one day come to Him in our eternal home for eternity. We leave our tents (we are just a shell) on earth and our spirits live on forever with Him!

Today, I ask just a few questions as we face our own mortality. Do you know Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior? Do you have an intimate relationship with God? Do you tell Him all of your hopes, dreams, disappointments, and pain? Are you spending time with Him and allowing Him to touch you, speak to you, and move through you? In the rest of 2 Corinthians 5 it continues to say that God made a down payment for you! He deposited the Holy Spirit into those that have taken His Son, Jesus, as their Savior. God gave us His Son to die on a cross for all of our sins reconciling us to Him, our creator of life, so that one day God promises to take us home to our eternal homes in heaven that He hand designed!

My challenge this week is:  If we knew today was our last day here on earth what would we do or what would we do differently? I am just so thankful that if you are reading this today we have another day by God's grace to really search our hearts on this! Then together let's celebrate and rejoice in today and be glad in it! Next share this -- this hope of eternal life for all that will call upon the name of Jesus-- with all that we know so that they, too, can live life abundantly and eternally just as God promised!

I love you all so much. Please don't hesitate to contact me at any time. Also, I will be praying for all of you this week! I love each of you! This email address is being protected from spambots.
