God has perfect timing!
Hello! I hope you are staying cool on these sweltering days of heat this summer! The days are flying by again in this season and I am just amazed that we are half way through June already! I had an incredible revelation this weekend at church and I wanted to share it with you today. It brought my heart so much encouragement and hope that I pray it will do the same for you!
Genesis 15:13 Amplified
"God said to Abram, "Know for sure that your descendants will be strangers [living temporarily] in a land (Egypt) that is not theirs, where they will be enslaved and oppressed for four hundred years."
Exodus 12:41
"At the end of the four hundred and thirty years, to that very day, all the hosts of the Lord [gathered into tribal armies] left the land of Egypt."
As the Genesis scripture shares above God is telling Abram that the Israelite's are going to be in bondage for 400 years but will be set free. Then in Exodus in the scripture above we see the exact day to the exact date God delivered them into freedom just as He had promised to Abram for them to go to the Promised Land! WHOA! This just hit me right into my heart. I ask you today, "What has the Lord promised you or told you that you are still believing for?" I have several things that I have been struggling with while waiting on God! But these scriptures that demonstrate God's great and loving sovereignty just blew me away.
This one fact kept running from my head down through my heart all the way to my toes-- God has an exact plan for all of us. We all have a specific purpose for living as Christ follower's down here on earth. We must take Abraham's example of faith as he surrendered it all to God, obeyed God's commands, and then acted out (even at the risk of death) to fulfill God's call on his life. This inspired me personally to go to another level deeper into God's presence, increase my level of faith believing God will answer my cries, and wait on Him expecting His answers in His perfect timing!
My challenge this week is: are you waiting on God to answer your pleas for help, healing, or for a breakthrough? KNOW THIS-- God hears your cries! God is working on your behalf right now! God will never fail us or leave us. He is not a God that will turn His back on His children especially in times of despair! Believe like the Father of Faith, Abraham, that God will in fact lead you, guide you, make your paths clear, and show up just in His perfect timing revealing to you His answers and plans that will surpass your own imaginations or dreams! Hold on-- wait on Him-- stand firm--- for God will always see us through and we will win the battle every time! God will answer your prayers and show up just don't give up hope!
Praying for all of you this week! I love each of you! Please email me your thoughts and prayer requests. This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

"Don't imagine us leaders to be something we aren't. We are servants of Christ, not his masters. We are guides into God's most sublime secrets, not security guards posted to protect them. The requirements for a good guide are reliability and accurate knowledge. It matters very little to me what you think of me, even less where I rank in popular opinion. I don't even rank myself. Comparisons in these matters are pointless. I'm not aware of anything that would disqualify me from being a good guide for you, but that doesn't mean much. The Master makes that judgment."  ~1 Corinthians 4:1 1-4 Message
As the scriptures tell us today we are all leaders and servants of Christ. We are all uniquely designed to reveal the mysteries of God to the lost through our love and living our lives in Him. Nothing disqualifies us and there is no rank or rating system. The only requirement is that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior and that we follow Him by obeying His words in love. I know this sounds simple but in today's world it is NOT easy to resist the need to constantly compare our lives to others!
It's been a challenge since the creation of time. Eve ate the fruit, sinning, and separated us from God from the very beginning! But-- it was the enemy that twisted the truth and made her compare herself to God. Didn't she want to be smarter than Him? It is a challenge we all face, not to compare ourselves to others. When we compare ourselves then there will always be a winner and a loser. Thus unity can't be realized because of competition. Instead of celebrating one another we compete and this is so sad. Remember God designed us to need each part of the whole and each one of us is a part of His Kingdom.
Even Saul loved David greatly, but because of comparisons he ended up wanting to kill him! We must strive to help others get further along and to live life in the fullness God designed them to have! If we compare ourselves we will end up in busyness, discontentment, jealousy, ungratefulness, and bitterness. However if we will learn to celebrate others-- their new cars, their new jobs, their 50 pound weight loss, their victory over addictions, or whatever God has blessed them with then YOU reap so much more! When we celebrate with them then you are showing God how much you trust Him and that He is a good God to all of us! God will certainly bless you because of your obedience and trust!
My challenge this week is: in the age of social media-- everyone posting their best days, greatest achievements, new things, and all kinds of things that make us feel that we are losers-- just know that this is a lie of the enemy. WE ALL have bad days.  Life is never 100% a fairy tale. No one is ever in constant love, on forever vacations, working with a dream job, and in a perfect family. But-- we can learn to celebrate others successes, encourage one another to obtain life's best, and love one another unconditionally without measure or rank. When you celebrate others, celebrate who God made you to be, then God will celebrate YOU like never before. You will not be disappointed or frustrated anymore-- you will have the fullness only God can give!
Have a great week! I love each of you! Please send me any prayer requests you may have. I love hearing your thoughts on what this message meant to you. Have a lively week!  My email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

YOUR faith releases God to fulfill your expectations

"Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God." ~Ezekial 1:1

I have so much to share with you today! God is so good and He is so faithful! I pray right now that God will open your hearts to embrace what I am sharing today is truth. I am totally amazed at God right now! I laughed and cried sharing to Him that He never ceases to amaze me and He pressed right back into my heart sharing that's His whole intention for all of us - we serve an amazing God so why are we so shocked when He amazes us!?

This past week I had a heavenly visitation. YES! I know right - really a visit from angels? Yes Really! One night I was wrestling with God and I looked up wide awake and saw blinks of light. They looked like lightning bugs in the summer. Then clouds or smoke filled my room and I was amazed! I asked for a voice and got none. I asked for the faces of the six-winged angels and saw none. But as I searched the next day in scriptures these are seraphim angels and they cover their faces. They are in the throne room of God! I know what some of you may be thinking, "Laine has lost it and now she is seeing things and calling it God." That's okay. Look I completely understand! I am the biggest skeptic of all. But I am telling you with all that I am and all that God has purposed for me that I had a visitation into the heavenlies.

The only take away I want you to grasp in your heart today is this-- if you will enlarge your vision of who God is and release a higher level of expectation of what God can do, I know God is using my experience to tell you that He will answer supernaturally! The dictionary defines expectation as the degree of probability that something will occur. What probability do you give your prayer requests? Do you really believe in what you are praying for God to answer? He showed me that every action that Moses did by faith was already settled in his heart and carried expectation with it. When Moses moved in faith it released the expectation of God. Just as Ezekiel in the scriptures above was expectant for God to show and the heavens opened up!! Fresh expectations are a collision of our faith with Gods hope.

My challenge this week is: Do you believe in miracles? Do you believe God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow-- we serve a God that doesn't change? If God healed the blind to see, deaf to hear, and visited many in visions and in person-- then He is still doing this today! I urge you today to go to God with your biggest prayer request-- your greatest heart need from Him- and BELIEVE with a fresh expectation of who He is and what He can do for you and HE WILL show up! He is a God that never changes and He will never fail us!

Have a great week! I love each of you! Email me your prayer requests and thoughts - I would love to hear from you! This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

God is counting on you today!

Hello! I hope you are having a great day! I have just one quick thought to share with you today. I know many of you wonder why in the world God created you. Some of you feel like you have missed your timing, missed your chance, or simply that you have never really fulfilled the purpose of  why you were made. Today I leave you with a few facts and thoughts that I pray will stir you and affirm you to make a difference for God starting today!
Jesus was our best example on how to fulfill God's purpose through us. Jesus made God His first priority. The most powerful way He stay connected to God was through prayer and spending a lot of time with God. So many times Jesus just had to pull away and go alone to spend time with God! I found this survey below and I wanted to share it with you today.
Did you know that a 1992 survey found that aside from sleeping and work, television was the number one thing most people spent their time on? Here is the estimate of how a typical life span of 70 years is spent:

Sleep..................23 years..........32.9%
Work.................16 years...........22.8%
TV.......................8 years...........11.4%
Eating...................6 years...........8.6%
Travel...................6 years...........8.6%
Leisure..............4.5 years...........6.5%
Illness...................4 years...........5.7%
Dressing...............2 years...........2.8%
Things of God....0.5 years...........0.7%

Total................70 years............100%
Truly this shocked me! You can't get away from sleep and work. But the rest of most of your time is definitely in your control. Jesus showed us that God should be our first priority! You can even take God to work everyday-- matter of fact that is where your harvest is that God laid out just for you-- to impact those that you work with for the Kingdom of God! If you feel like you are not living on purpose, if you are in a place of darkness, or if you just feel lost-- take this encouragement today. God has a purpose for each one of us and He is counting on you!
My challenge this week is: look at where you are spending your time and if you want to shift where you are spending your time do it today. Ask God to help you reach those that you see everyday. Ask God to direct every minute of your day. Give God the first minutes of every day and He will never fail you. You will immediately feel fulfilled and you will be certain He is with you no matter what your day brings! Make God your top priority today and follow the example of Jesus in today's scriptures-- Help God to set the captives free of this world through YOU starting TODAY!
Have a great week! I love each of you! Have a Lively week!

The Gift of the Cross

"His unique identity as Son of God was shown by the Spirit when Jesus was raised from the dead, setting him apart as the Messiah, our Master. Through him we received both the generous gift of his life and the urgent task of passing it on to others who receive it by entering into obedient trust in Jesus." ~Romans 1:2-7 (Message)

Good Morning! I pray that you had an incredible Easter celebration! I don't know about you but the older I get the more special Easter becomes to me. I am just amazed that Jesus loved us so much in our wretched sinning state that He died for ALL of our sins! What extravagant love He has for us! His obedience to death is such a true example of what great love should be. My only thought today as we close the Easter weekend is this, YOU have the resurrection power in you as a Christ follower!

As the scriptures above tell us, Jesus was set apart to die and resurrect from the dead so that the whole world could live and have eternal life. We too are set apart as follower's of Christ to be His hands, His feet, His eyes, and His heart to the lost world. Through His generous gift, dying for us so that we may live, we must be obedient to this act of selfless love and help save the lost.

My challenge this week is: do you believe that you carry the resurrecting power inside of you? Jesus said that we would do greater things than raising people from death! Do you trust Him so much that you are willing to take a dare and pray for someone today? Or ask someone to church or invite them to bible study? As we all know and the scriptures share-- times are urgent for us to share the light and love of Christ so that ALL may know Him before the world ends and eternal life begins. Please show someone today and everyday the love of Christ and share with them the good news that He loved them so much that He gave His life on a cross so that they may live forever with Him!Have a great week! I love each of you! Please send me any prayer requests that you may have. I would love to hear your thoughts on what today's message meant to you. Have a Lively week --Pay this incredible gift of resurrection power forward today! This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
