"Then Moses said to the Lord, "Please, Lord, I am not a man of words (eloquent, fluent), neither before nor since You have spoken to Your servant; for I am [b]slow of speech and tongue." The Lord said to him, "Who has made man's mouth? Or who makes the mute or the deaf, or the seeing or the blind? Is it not I, the Lord? Now then go, and I, even I, will be with your mouth, and will teach you what you shall say." ~Exodus 4:11-12, Amplified version

WHOA! That's about all I can say about the way God has been moving in my life these last few weeks! God has been bringing people of incredible faith walks and merging them into my path. From Joyce Meyer's very strong message to my most recent experience with some key leaders from Bethel Church in Redding, CA-- I have been on an incredible supernatural high!

All of this leads me to today's thought, God loves our weaknesses! The scripture above truly is a great example of how God uses all of our weaknesses. I almost laugh out loud with Moses as he bickers with God about him being picked to lead the Israelite's to freedom into the promise land. Did God not make Moses with His own hands? Did God not make Moses stutter as many scholars have said about Moses' speech problem? God created Moses and knew exactly what his weaknesses were!

This leads us to you and me. What are our weaknesses? Is it our mouths that gossip or have profanity? Is it our negative attitude? Is it our inability to be grateful for everything God has done for us? Do you drink too much, gamble, or rely on medicines too often? No matter what your weaknesses are-- we all have places in our lives that we need to work on! But that doesn't mean God does not want to use us! Just the opposite-- the more broken we are the more GOD shows through us!

My challenge this week is: face your weaknesses today. You might even want to write a list of where you feel you could do better. Then hand God your list and ask Him to help you overcome these weak places in your lives. Then ask God to forgive you. Then allow God to use your weaknesses for HIS glory! Don't focus on your weaknesses or inabilities because then you miss out on God's ability to work through you to reach the hurting and the lost! Just like Moses God will be responsible for working through us and we will be His representative to the world! I end today with my personal prayer to God, "God if you can use a nobody, a broken vessel, but a woman who loves you deeply then use me!" I pray He will use all of us and that He will get all the glory and many lives will come to know Him! AMEN!

I love each of you! Livin' lively, Laine

Hello all! Fall is definitely in the air. Football season has begun, school has started, and the cool breezes of fall have begun to blow. It is so exciting to see the season's change. However, as I celebrate a new season I am reminded that we serve a God that does NOT change. Isn't that awesome? He remains the same forever. This thought brought me to today's encouragement. Jesus gave His follower's authority because He was leaving to go back to heaven. Therefore, as follower's of Jesus Christ, we too have authority!

"Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases." ~Luke 9:1 NKJV

The definition of authority can be defined as: the right to control, command, or determine. Therefore, YOU have the power of Jesus Christ in you to have authority in this world! You have the power to control, command, and determine challenges thrown your way by the enemy! The only thing that limits your authority is the level of your faith. Faith allows us to access our authority through the blood of Jesus Christ!

My challenge for you is this: claim YOUR authority in Christ today! Take control of your life right now! Command the enemy to flee from your life. Determine that you will be victorious through Christ and the power and the authority that He has given to you. Do NOT cower to the enemy's darts of evil. Stand strong and in great belief and faith that you have the authority to command the enemy to leave your life. God promises us that He will deliver us from evil. So declare today that you have authority over the enemy and stand in the victory that was given to you by the death of Jesus on the cross!

I love each of you! Livin' Lively, Laine

"Be brave when you face your enemies. Your courage will show them that they are going to be destroyed, and it will show you that you will be saved. God will make all of this happen." ~Philippians 1:28, The Message

I can't believe it is back to school season! WHOA! Where did summer go? I couldn't wait to share this morning on what I have felt all weekend. It seems God has really been placing the significant characteristic of being courageous in these last days. I pray that this word gives you courage to face life today with confidence that you will be victorious!

I first want to start out by defining courage. Courage is the quality of mind or spirit that enables a person to face difficulty, danger, pain, etc., without fear; bravery. WHOA! This should really hit many of us right in between the eyes with affirmation! Many are facing difficulties, danger, pain, and I am here to tell you-- take courage!

As the scriptures share above we must be brave! No matter what we are facing if we have courage today then we will show the enemy he is going to be destroyed and that you will be victorious! The greatest part of our thought today is that GOD will make ALL of this happen! All that we have to do is to be brave in HIM and have the courage --the spirit (our Holy Spirit stirred up) that is in faith and not fear!

My challenge this week is: if you are facing difficulties, danger, pain, or feel fear-- then go to God now and ask Him to stir you and to help build your courage in Him. In these last days as the world makes what is wrong right and makes right wrong we all need to be brave. May we all ENCOURAGE one another that it will be worth the fight in the end. We will be rewarded in heaven for the good fight of faith over fear and for our bravery fighting for God's will to be done here on earth!

Greetings!

"When you help someone out, don't think about how it looks. Just do it-quietly and unobtrusively. That is the way your God, who conceived you in love, working behind the scenes, helps you out." ~Matthew 6:2-4 (MSG)

I hope everyone has found a new back to school routine easily! Time is flying by so quickly. As I was searching my heart on what exactly I wanted to share today, I felt it was from Matthew 6 where I have been meditating the last few weeks. The thought I have for us today really encouraged me and I pray it brings you hope, too!

In the scriptures above as I was meditating I worked it backwards for today's thought. First I asked, "Who is working behind the scenes?" The answer is God. Then I asked, "How is God working it out?" The answer is God is working behind the scenes quietly and unobtrusively to help you out!

WHOA! Some of us really need to hear this today!! You may be running out of time. You may be feeling hopeless. Some of you are giving up. I am here to tell you today that GOD IS WORKING behind the scenes in your life today and everyday!! It is His promise that He will never leave us or forsake us. God will work it out for your good-- you just can't quit!

If you are feeling hopeless, like you are not getting an answer from God, or wanting to quit--I ask you to meditate on this scripture today! God LOVES YOU so much and He will work out your victory! Just because you can't see Him right now does NOT mean He is not working on your behalf! I leave you today declaring that God is working behind the scenes quietly and unobtrusively in your life and you will have a life of abundance as He promised you!
