Good Morning! I hope you are staying cool these very hot summer days! I have been enjoying fun days on the beach with my family and staying cool in the ocean waves. It is such a funny feeling because I don't have to pack up to leave for long periods of time anymore. Now, I live here at the beach! Funny how life changes so quickly!

As I was reflecting about how God led us to move from Mississippi to Destin, Florida, I started thinking about God and preparation. God will NEVER lead us to go somewhere where He has NOT gone first. God has already prepared YOU a place in His Kingdom.

"Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Enter, you who are blessed by my Father! Take what's coming to you in this kingdom. It's been ready for you since the world's foundation. And here's why: I was hungry and you fed me, I was thirsty and you gave me a drink, I was homeless and you gave me a room, I was shivering and you gave me clothes, I was sick and you stopped to visit, I was in prison and you came to me.'" ~Matthew 25:34-36 The Message

As the scripture above assures us, God has had ready the Kingdom for all of us since creation. He has been waiting on YOU since the foundation of the world! The word READY has been on my heart. God is always ready and we must be ready, too. This really gave me such comfort and hope and I pray it touches you.

My WHOAChallenge this week is: ask yourself do you believe that God has a place for YOU in His Kingdom for eternity? If not, just ask God into your heart and ask Him to increase your faith. Allow God to show you that you will be coming come to heaven when you pass away. Also, look over the reason's why God created you-- so that you would feed the hungry, give a drink to the thirsty, help the homeless, clothe people, help the sick, and visit the prisoners. May we all strive to fulfill God's desires for us as we are His hands and feet here in this dark world! One day we will see God's face and spend eternity with our Lord and Savior. WHOA! How encouraging for all!

I wanted to share from the heart today. Share something personal and vulnerable about my marriage...

When Steve and I got married almost 30 years ago, we never dreamed our first 17 years could become hell on earth. I never thought there would come a day when I would love to hate my husband. Here was the man I had vowed to love until the day one of us died, and for most of those first 17 years I prayed his death would come quickly. And preferably at my hands.

Maybe you are at that same desperate point in your own marriage. Maybe you think your marriage is so far gone nothing could fix it. Not even a miracle. We discovered a secret that in a single instant could erase 17 years’ worth of arguments, mistrust, broken promises, curse words, and hate. In one conversation and one prayer, all the parts of our marriage that we had burned beyond recognition fell away. It happened when Steve and I made a decision together to start again from scratch.

Better than chocolate peanut butter pie. Better than your grandma’s sour cream poundcake with buttercream icing. Better than the tastiest filet mignon with homemade burgundy shallot mushroom sauce or the most luscious lobster dripping with butter. (We could continue, but the list is making us hungry.)

How about it? Are you feeling the hunger pangs for change? Thirsty for a brand new relationship? Tired of living on a marital diet of mistrust, dishonesty, contempt, and criticism? Whether you have been married five months or 15 years, that kind of negative diet has not made you a lean, mean marriage machine. Nope. Instead, we bet it has packed on the pounds of loneliness, bitterness, and resentment. Every day, you feel heavier and heavier as all the junk in your marital trunk weighs you down.

Today is the day you can shed the extra weight and start again from scratch. Right now. This minute, you and your spouse can experience the same miracle Steve and I had. Go to startagainfromscratch.com to find out more!

Hebrews 6:13-18 The Message

"When God wanted to guarantee his promises, he gave his word, a rock-solid guarantee-God can't break his word. And because his word cannot change, the promise is likewise unchangeable."

Good morning! In light of celebrating Father's Day this past weekend, this scripture really spoke to me. In the above scriptures it is describing the promise that God gave to us as Abraham's decedents that we too will be blessed. This is God's word and because God is so good to all of us He wants to give us His best blessings!

As I was walking this weekend in a brand new city, in a brand new house, and in an unfamiliar place, I was reminded by the Holy Spirit how good God is to all of His children. He would never take us somewhere without Him being there with us! He would never lead us where He is not present.

My challenge this week is: if you need to build up your unbelief of where God is leading you today then take today's thoughts and believe with all of your heart that God is good. Know deep within your soul that God will always give you a good outcome. He will never leave you or keep you in lack. God promises YOU that you will be blessed and God never breaks His word and He will bless you-- it's a promise to YOU!

We love you and we are here for you. Let us encourage you today. If you need prayers, Please email us or call with any needs you may have! Let us pray with you today, call or email us with your prayer requests. We are here for you 24/7. We love you and we thank you for being a part of the growing WHOAwomen Community.

"I will instruct you and teach you

about the direction you should go.

I'll advise you and keep my eye on you." ~Psalm 32:8 CEB

Hello! Today's thought is short but it is so encouraging.

Many of us have been looking persistently to the Lord to lead us. Literally many are looking for the very next step in our journey. This scripture above just touched my heart profoundly!

If we are living in obedience and consistently going to the Lord in prayer then He will absolutely show us the direction we should go. But not only that-- He will instruct us, too! What really brought my heart to tears was that in this promise from God was His declaration--that He loves us so much that He will keep His eye on us and advise us!

My challenge is this: if you need to know the next step in your life or need some instructions on how to live your life, then believe that God will do it! He loves YOU so much that He will guide you and lead you. He will never leave His eyes off of you because He loves YOU so extravagantly! Believe this promise and look up to the heavens and wait for God's divine directions today.

I love each of you and would love to hear from you! Email me: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

As I was searching my heart on what to share with you, I kept hearing a thought from the Lord. It was a total perspective change that gave me so much hope! I know it will bring you hope and peace, too!

"And regarding your speculation on whether the dead are raised or not, don't you read your Bibles? The grammar is clear: God says, 'I am-not was-the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, the God of Jacob.' The living God defines himself not as the God of dead men, but of the living." ~Hebrews 22:29-33 (The Message)

First, the scriptures above share that God is the God of NOW! He is not the past God or the God that "was". God is ever present in all of our lives right now. Sometimes I think the enemy uses this one twisted truth to discourage us the most. The devil likes to say, "God doesn't still part the Red Sea," or, "God doesn't bring dead things to life anymore." TODAY I assure you not only through this scripture found in the Bible but in my personal life and testimony that God is still bringing dead things to life!

As you know I have co-authored a book with my sweet husband, Steve. Together we share how God took our dead marriage and resurrected it from death to life! The scripture I found today just shouted that God is still bringing dead things to life!

Here is an excerpt from our book, Start Again from Scratch:

When Steve and I got married almost 30 years ago, we never dreamed our first 17 years could become hell on earth. I never thought there would come a day when I would love to hate my husband. Here was the man I had vowed to love until the day one of us died, and for most of those first 17 years I prayed his death would come quickly. And preferably at my hands.

If you are you facing some dead areas in your life today - debt in your finances, walking dead relationships, dead end jobs or no job - God can instantly bring life to anything! Surrender to God today and submit to His will. Dare to believe that the breath of God can resuscitate the dead places in your life right now! He did it for me - He resurrected my marriage, our finances, my dying daughter - so I know first hand that God can bring any dead thing back to life! I pray you trust and declare this word over your life today!

I am praying for you and know God will bring all the dead things back to life!
