"Stalwart walks in step with God; his path blazed by God, he's happy. If he stumbles, he's not down for long; God has a grip on his hand. Good Morning! I pray that you are doing well this Monday morning. I can't believe we are half way through January and many of us are over the halfway point of our fast. Time is truly flying for all. However, some of you today are really upset thinking your year is already in peril because of broken resolutions or failed fasts. My thought today I pray will encourage you and inspire you to expect your best year yet!" ~Psalm 37:23-24 (Message)

This verse touched my heart today. I looked up the definition of stalwart and it means, "brave, strong, firm, and steadfast". It made me realize we must be brave to walk in step with God. Just our faith in Him is a sign of our strength today. But more than that, this scripture showed me that even the strong fall but not for long because God will pull them right back up!

Today, if you are down on yourself and upset because you have not made good on some of your New Year's resolutions or cheated on your fast, don't give up or give in! God is right there. YOU are in the grip of His hand. You get right back on track and you will see God's strength move through you today!

My challenge this week is: forgive yourself of shortcomings. Get back on your New Year's resolutions and fast. Allow God to pick you up and put you back on schedule. Don't give up on your goals. YOU got this with God's always present help even when you fall. He will pick you right back up. Believe in your heart right now that this year, 2016, will be your best year yet and you will walk closer with God than ever before!

"Give us this day our daily bread." ~Matthew 6:11

Hello to all of you! I want to thank so many of you for all of your prayers for me as I am doing a 21 day Daniel fast. I can feel every one of the prayers and I can't thank you enough! Also, I love answering all of your emails so please keep them coming! (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.)

My inspiration today is very simple. It came to me in two segments. First, I am reciting the Lord's Prayer three times a day during my fast. This week one day the phrase, "Give us this day our daily bread," just stopped me the second time I was speaking it. I asked the Lord to help me understand the significance of this phrase for me and as He always does - God gave me an amazing answer.

He assured me that no matter what it is I face, and no matter how impossible it seems that HE is bigger. Then He continued as He encouraged my heart to face today- THIS DAY- head on and not to let my mind wander off to tomorrow. He touched my heart so powerfully in a way that I knew that all of my days on this earth are taken care of by Him!

Then my pastor shared on living in the NOW and being present in it! We need to make daily moments with God and memories with our family and friends everyday! We can't do everything. We must in 2016 we must make our exchanges count! Our best should go to God in our schedules and family must come second because memories are the only thing we take with us to heaven!

My challenge this week is: I know many of you have a broken heart, you are facing impossible challenges, and you need a breakthrough this year. God will see you through! Please take today and make it matter! Give God your first minutes of the day and pray to Him all day long. Dare to believe that He has your tomorrow and do NOT let your mind worry about your future. When fear and anxiety overcome you, get into His word until the negative feeling subsides. His living word will comfort you and will make the negative emotions flee! Then, wherever you are - work, school, with friends, with family, or at church - BE PRESENT with all that you are! We serve a NOW God and we must become people of right now. God has us in the palm of His hands and our names are written in the heavens so let's live 2016 in this new season of confidence and faith!

Again I declare-I know that 2016 will be a year full of miracles, signs, and wonders. I love YOU! Please keep all of your requests coming - I love to pray with you and for you! If you need prayers, please email me.

Let's live 2016 to the fullest that God has for us! Livin' lively, Laine

"This is how the birth of Jesus Christ took place. When Mary his mother was engaged to Joseph, before they were married, she became pregnant by the Holy Spirit. Joseph her husband was a righteous man. Because he didn't want to humiliate her, he decided to call off their engagement quietly. As he was thinking about this, an angel from the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, "Joseph son of David, don't be afraid to take Mary as your wife, because the child she carries was conceived by the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you will call him Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins." Now all of this took place so that what the Lord had spoken through the prophet would be fulfilled: Look! A virgin will become pregnant and give birth to a son, And they will call him, Emmanuel." Matthew 1:18-23 (CEV)

Good Morning! I don't know about you but the story of Jesus' birth never grows old to me. Matter of fact, the older I get the more special it becomes to my heart. Truly the birth of Jesus is a remarkable story with so many lessons for us to learn within it. Today, I share one thought from the birth of Jesus story with you.

Have you ever felt like Joseph must have felt? A person you love so dearly comes to you with news that you feel has made them a liar and a betrayer? Unfortunately most of the time the person is a liar. This is a hurt that can't be described. Each betrayal has it's own unique pain that rips your heart. Unlike Joseph most of us will not have an angel that comes and tells us that the person who has hurt us is actually telling the truth. Thank God that for Joseph God sent an angel to clear Mary's name.

If you have been betrayed or lied to, then this thought may just be what you need to hear to set you free. This Holiday season give yourself a gift that is worth more than anything money can buy. Give yourself freedom from hate, bitterness, and unforgiveness. They have said these things are poison to your soul. The person who has hurt you doesn't even know how much it hurts and most likely they don't even care. But God does care and He longs to heal you this Christmas.

My challenge this week is: if you have been lied to or betrayed go to God right now and ask Him to purify your heart. Ask God to take all of the hate, bitterness, and unforgiveness and release you from it right now! Allow God to fill your heart with forgiveness and hope. Receive God's total forgiveness for all of your sins then offer this back to the people that have hurt you. It is the best gift you can give yourself ever! You will be emptied of emotions that are toxic and that are keeping your wells of blessings stopped up. Get ready for a great Holiday season and extraordinary gifts to come your way! Remember this promise from God, as we are obedient to God's will even when it seems so hard your rewards will always follow your obedience!

Merry Christmas! I love you and am here for you. Let me encourage you today.

"And now they're at it again! Take care of their threats and give your servants fearless confidence in preaching your Message, as you stretch out your hand to us in healings and miracles and wonders done in the name of your holy servant Jesus." ~Acts 4:28-30 (Message)

"Peace and prosperity to all! It is my privilege to report to you the gracious miracles that the High God has done for me. His miracles are staggering, his wonders are surprising. His kingdom lasts and lasts, his sovereign rule goes on forever." ~Daniel 4:3 (Message)

Happy New Year!

As the scripture from Acts states, God has given every one of us the ability to allow Him to move through us. He is ready and able to do miracles, signs, and wonders through us and to us! Are you ready? The scripture is clear all we have to do is raise our expectations (which is our faith factor) and increase our confidence in HIM and He will move on our behalf and through us to help others!

I wanted to share the most encouraging word for our New Year - 2016. God has been pressing into my heart and expanding my revelations for weeks about 2016. I pray that you will take this word today and make it your very own placing it deep within your heart.

As the scripture in Daniel shares, God's miracles are staggering and His wonders are surprising! If He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow - a God that doesn't change - then He is still moving today through miracles, signs and wonders! These are God's words and promises to the world!

My challenge this week is: dare to believe that God can use YOU as a testimony in experiencing your own miracles, signs, and wonders! Dare to expand your belief that God will move through YOU to manifest miracles, signs and wonders for others to see the God you serve! Decree and Declare over your life right now that God will show up like never before in 2016 and many will be touched by His overflowing love through His miracles, signs and wonders this upcoming year!

"I, Peter, am an apostle on assignment by Jesus, the Messiah, writing to exiles scattered to the four winds. Not one is missing, not one forgotten. God the Father has his eye on each of you, and has determined by the work of the Spirit to keep you obedient through the sacrifice of Jesus. May everything good from God be yours!" 1 Peter 1:1-2 (Message)

Hello! I hope that your Thanksgiving was blessed and restful. There are so many great things to be thankful for this season. God just kept reminding me that all of us are so blessed. There is one theme that God has had me focused on before Thanksgiving was even here. The thought of God being a good Father has been literally sticking with my soul day and night. I pray that today's inspiration touches your heart personally.

The scripture above is the one that I felt lined up best with what God has been pressing into my heart. As it states above, not one of us is missing from God's radar-- God's eyes are always on us! WHOA! The God of the universe never takes His loving eyes off of us. That fact alone shows us how good our heavenly Father is to us!

Also, in the scripture, it shares that not one of us is missing or forgotten by Him. This just makes me weep. God loves each one of us so extravagantly even though we may be in sin or try to hide from Him-- none of us will ever be lost from Him! He is so amazing and good --ALL the time! God is so good to us.

My #LivelyChallenge this week is: maybe Thanksgiving felt like you did not have much to be thankful for. Allow today's thought overwhelm your heart with gratitude because of God's goodness! God will never lose sight of you! He will always have His eyes on you. Today run to Him with a thankful heart and tell Him, "Thank you for Your goodness." We serve a good Father and He loves each one of us uniquely and intimately!
