Victory in Unexpected Pregnancy a Powerful Testimony

Today you don’t want to miss the inspirational story from tragedy to victory in an unexpected pregnancy. 

My heart was so touched by today’s testimony that I could not wait to share it with you too! Only God can take a date rape that steals her virginity and make a beautiful story. I am so grateful to J.K. Wilson for sharing her tragedy that God turned into a victory. I know this testimony will touch your heart too. 

There are no words to fully express the fullness of J.K.’s personal story of choosing to keep her baby after she was raped. But so many of you were touched by our last blog about an unexpected pregnancy and what to do. I wanted to add a few more thoughts that J.K. shared in her story that will help you if you are facing an unplanned pregnancy or someone in your life may be experiencing it.

A few extra thoughts for an unexpected pregnancy:

Know that God is going to take care of you and your baby.

Lean into God and lean on others in your life as you walk down this path so that you never feel alone.

Pray to God for guidance and for Him to lead your steps.

Know that you are greatly loved and that God will make a way when there seems to be no way.

J.K. shared this scripture with us Jeremiah 17:7-8 (NIV), 

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”

J.K. wants you to know that God is our hope. When she had nine months of drought carrying her baby, God was there healing her as the baby grew inside her. Beauty came from the ashes, God never failed her, and He won’t fail you either!
